Rainbow Reach is a horse ranch in Sebastopol, California, providing life coaching services through interactive experiences with horses and the land. Horses are creatures of the land, in tune with the rhythms of nature and as such have the capacity to put us back in touch with our own nature and rhythms. With horses as our guides, it is possible to creatively address the questions and choices in our lives.
Encountering a herd of horses in a sunny pasture, we step out of our busy, urgent minds and settle into our bodies, hearts and senses. We are invited to slow down and breathe with the horse, feel the breeze and the warmth of the sun on our skin, and tune into the sounds of birdsong. We experience the world the way a horse might, aware of what is happening in the moment. From this place of grounded, embodied awareness we can explore personal territory that is elusive in daily life, finding inspiration and direction.

The seeking is an adventure, and we feel most alive when in that curious, questing, active mode, perhaps not catching the rainbow, but opening to a new experience. The sun, breaking through winter storms, displays magnificent rainbows across our pastures. Leaping high over the grazing horses and majestic oaks, they span the land alongside neighboring Atascadero Creek.
The term used when referring to a section of creek is a “reach”. So, we call this property the "Rainbow Reach of Atascadero Creek", a stretch of jeweled brilliance in winter. In spring, summer and fall the land has other moods and forms of brilliance. We encourage you to join us and experience the gifts of the land and horses here at Rainbow Reach.
